Scott Morrow is a fighter. With a career dedicated to representing workers as a union officer and President and Director of Industrial Relations, Scott has fought for fair treatment in cases involving the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Merit Systems Protection Board, Social Security Disability Insurance, unemployment compensation, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Even after retiring to Laramie in 2004, he continued his advocacy, focusing on legislative priorities for retirees as President of one of the largest retiree chapters of the American Postal Workers Union.
Scott is a proud father of five. As a single parent, he instilled the values of discipline and hard work in his children by engaging them through his passion for martial arts. He earned a Cho Dan Black Belt in World Taekwondo and studied Karate, Judo, Jujitsu, Thai kickboxing, and Greco-Roman wrestling. At 58, he won first place in forms and second in sparring at the 2011 Wyoming State Karate Championships.
Frustrated by decades of being ignored by Wyoming’s Senators, Scott felt he had no choice but to take up the fight for everyday Wyomingites by running against John Barrasso. Unlike Senator Barrasso, Scott is committed to serving the people, not the rich and powerful. He will work tirelessly to ensure that the Equality State lives up to its promise of true equality for all.
